He has been in practice for 15 years and is a certified Active Release Techniques provider. Chelsea Senior Living Regional Director of Operations Alison Manasso of Freehold has been chosen by the American Health Care Association/National Center for Assisted Living as a Future Leader in Long-Term Care.
Manasso will participate in a year-long program that offers training and guidance for long-term care professionals who have demonstrated leadership potential and an interest in representing the interests of longterm care providers at the state and national levels.
The program covers the latest theories in quality management, customer satisfaction and leadership. Her first stop will be a threeday symposium with other future leaders from June 27-29 in Washington, D.C.
Manasso, a Certified Assisted Living Administrator, has held a number of leadership positions at Chelsea Senior Living, including executive director, since joining the company in 2003.

The Freehold Home and Business Expo will be held from 4-7 p.m. May 22 at theAmerican Hotel, Freehold. The focus of the nonprofit event will be on innovation in homes and businesses. The event will feature 50 vendors, five speakers, a cash bar, giveaways at tables, and thousands of dollars in door prizes. All proceeds above the expense of the hotel will be donated to the Samaritan Center food pantry, which helps feed residents of Englishtown, Manalapan, Marlboro and Millstone Township who are struggling to make ends meet.
