Police blotter news from Allentown and Robbinsville

Allentown
   Jewelry and cash were stolen from a Pondview Drive home sometime between 12:30 p.m. on May 16 and 7 p.m. on May 17, police said.
   The break-in occurred at the back of the residence and multiple items with a total value of $3,000 were taken, police said.
   Patrolman Richard Lerche investigated. There were no arrests as of Tuesday.


   Casey Catelli, 25, of Upper Freehold, was charged with driving while suspended after a motor vehicle stop on North Main Street at 11:45 a.m. on May 18, police said.
   Ms. Catelli was also found to have a warrant for her arrest out of Jacobstown in the amount of $195, police said. She posted full bail and was processed and released pending court.


   Christopher Lee, 23, of Allentown, was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance (marijuana) after a motor vehicle stop on South Main Street at 4:40 p.m., May 17, police said.
   During the traffic stop for driving with a suspended license, Mr. Lee was found to be in possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana, police said. He was arrested and taken to police headquarters, where he was processed and released pending a court date.


  Fredrick Bush, 46, of Allentown, was arrested on an outstanding child support warrant at 6:15 p.m., May 20, police said.
   Patrolman Thomas Malatesta responded to a Hamilton Street home to investigate a 911 hang-up call, found Mr. Bush there and made the arrest. The warrant had been issued by the Monmouth County Sheriff’s Office in the amount of $20,994.
   Mr. Bush was processed and transported to the Monmouth County Correctional Institute in lieu of full cash bail. He is also charged with obstruction of administration, police said.


Robbinsville
   Amanda Bilibrew, 28, of Lawrenceville, was charged with DWI and other offenses after a traffic stop at 9:54 p.m., May 20, police said.
   Robbinsville police received a call about an erratic driver on Route 130 North near Windsor Road. Detective Pete Galazka located the vehicle, pulled it over near Hankins Road, and observed evidence that the driver was intoxicated, police said.
   Ms. Bilibrew was asked to perform field sobriety tests, which she failed, police said. She was additionally charged with refusal to submit to breath testing, reckless driving, careless driving and DWI with a minor in a vehicle. She was processed, charged and released pending court.


   Daniel Knott, 23, of Jackson, was charged with driving an unregistered vehicle and possession of marijuana after a traffic stop at 8:58 p.m., May 16, police said.
   Detective Peter Galazka conducted a random DMV computer check on a vehicle traveling on Robbinsville-Allentown Road and pulled it over near Interstate 195 when he learned the vehicle was unregistered. During the traffic stop, the officer observed evidence that narcotics might be present and a subsequent search revealed a small quantity of marijuana.
   Mr. Knott was arrested, processed, charged and released pending court.


   Margaret Lay, 26, of South Plainfield, was charged with DWI and other offenses after a traffic stop at 1:27 a.m. on May 19, police said.
   Patrolman Thomas Egan saw a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot of National Pools on Route 130 South and detected evidence the driver was intoxicated, police said. Ms. Lay was asked to perform field sobriety tests, which she failed.
   Ms. Lay was additionally charged with careless driving and reckless driving, police said. She was arrested, processed, charged and released pending court.


   Andres Lizarazu, 25, of Somerset, was charged with DWI and other offenses after a traffic stop at 2:36 a.m. on May 20, police said.
   Patrolman Scott Kivet saw a vehicle traveling below the posted speed limit on Route 130 and pulled it over near H&H gas. During the traffic stop the officer detected evidence that the driver was intoxicated and asked him to perform field sobriety tests, which he failed, police said.
   Mr. Lizarazu was additionally charged with careless driving, reckless driving, delaying traffic and failure to maintain lane, police said. He was arrested, charged, processed and released pending court.
