STOCKTON: Help is needed for third Stockton Day

STOCKTON — The scheduling of the third annual Stockton Day was discussed by Borough Council at its May 14 meeting, Clerk Michele Hovan said.
The first two Stockton Days were held in June 2010 and 2012.
”It now appears likely that this year’s Stockton Day will probably be held in the fall, probably in September,” Ms. Hovan said. The date is expected to be announced soon, she noted.
Local people will need to step up if Stockton Day is to get off the ground this year, she added.
”Volunteers are desperately needed for the Stockton Day Planning Committee,” she said. Anyone interested should call or visit Borough Hall or e-mail Ms. Hovan at [email protected].
It was reported May 14 that, with the exception of a few minor items, the reconstruction of Old Prallsville Road is complete, Ms. Hovan said.
Expected to be scheduled soon are meetings for the introduction and adoption of the borough’s 2012 budget, Ms. Hovan said.
