ROBBINSVILLE — It’s the festival that puts the fun in fundraiser.
Students and community members will come together to enjoy a night of food, music, carnival games and friendly athletic competitions on Friday, June 8 at the annual Raven Rage sponsored by Robbinsville High School and its PTSA.
The festival, which helps raise money for college scholarships, will be held from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. on the turf fields behind RHS.
This fun night with family and friends features the high school’s freshman, sophomore, junior and senior classes competing in friendly athletic competitions. Along with the junior and senior class Powder Puff football game, there will be a dunk tank, sand art, cheerleading competition, and face-painting.
Younger students from Pond Road Middle School and Sharon Elementary School can participate in field games and enjoy bouncy inflatables.
There is free admission for student participants and children under 5. Adults pay a $3 admission fee and students who are not taking part in the games pay $2.
Tickets to play the carnival games, jump in the inflatables, and take a shot at the dunk tank will be sold in advance until June 7 for $15 (a $25 value) at Sovereign Bank, Bijou Salon, Tony’s Farm & Garden Center, CLJ Home Improvements and Take 5. Students will also be selling tickets during lunches in the cafeteria.
Raven Rage serves as a great kickoff to a weekend of community activities, including the Qasim & Ahad Memorial 5K Race at 9 a.m. on Saturday, June 9 and Robbinsville Township Day at Community Park, which starts at 2 p.m., Saturday, June 9. The Raven Rage rain date is Monday, June 11.
The Robbinsville High School PTSA urges all members of the Robbinsville community to come out and enjoy the Raven Rage festivities. Contact Tiziana Johnston at [email protected] for more information.
