Neil Paulvin, D.O., of Manalapan, has joined the medical practice of Advanced Orthopedics and Sports Medicine Institute (AOSMI), Freehold Township. Dr. Paulvin, who is a certified medical acupuncturist and board certified in osteopathic manipulation, has an interest in combining traditional medicine with alternative medicine, especially for treating pain. At AOSMI, Dr. Paulvin will offer patients alternative methods to treat pain and improve overall wellbeing.
Before joining AOSMI, Dr. Paulvin was on staff at Atlanticare Family Medicine, Ocean City. Dr. Paulvin graduated with a B.A. in Biological Sciences from Rutgers University. He earned his D.O. at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, School of Osteopathic Medicine, Stratford, where he also did postdoctoral training, residency, and an internship in family practice.
RE/MAX Realty 9 in Howell will host its first golf outing to benefit the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals on July 23. The outing will be held at the Bella Vista Country Club, 100 School Road East, Marlboro. Registration for the event will be held from 11 a.m. to noon, with tee-off at noon.
A cocktail hour will be held from 5-6 p.m. Dinner will begin at 6 p.m. and will feature a gift auction and a 50/50 raffle. For golfers interested in participating, the cost is $175 which includes greens fee, cart, buffet lunch, beverage cart, snack around the turn, dinner and gift auction. For nongolfers, the cost is $60 and includes dinner and gift auction.

Helene Gregory, track photographer at Freehold Raceway, was saluted in the track’s winner’s circle on May 12 with an award of merit. The presentation was made by her employer, John Pantalone, who founded World Wide Racing Photo in 1972 at Liberty Bell Park, Pa. Pantalone praised Gregory for being one of his best employees in nearly 40 years of operations. The plaque saluted Gregory for “Outstanding Service as Track Photographer at Freehold Raceway.”
Ben Dattner, author of “The Blame Game,” will share insights into the games people play at work and how human resources can help stop that behavior at the June 14 Jersey Shore Association for Human Resources meeting, scheduled from 8-10 a.m. at the Jumping Brook Country Club, Neptune. Dattner will discuss how people and organizations can get caught up in the blame game, during which the wrong people get blamed for the wrong reasons at the wrong time and how that can affect motivation and performance.
