Police blotter news from Allentown and Robbinsville
Robbinsville
Two 53-foot trailers were stolen from the parking lots of two different businesses in the warehouse park area on May 29 and May 30, police said.
The first trailer, valued at $5,000, was reported stolen from a parking lot off West Manor Way at 10:17 a.m., May 29, police said. Patrolman Adrian Markowski took the report.
The second trailer, valued at $10,000, was reported stolen from a parking lot off Applegate Drive at 12:29 p.m., May 30, police said. Patrolman Christopher Clifton took the report.
A bicycle was stolen from an open garage on Windward Way at 6:18 p.m., May 29, police said.
The bicycle was valued at $800. Patrolman Thomas Egan took the report.
Anthony Parada, 26, of Union, was charged with possession of marijuana and other offenses after a traffic stop at 11:28 p.m., May 29, police said.
Patrolman Scott Kivet saw a vehicle northbound on Route 130 that failed to dim its high beams, police said. The officer pulled the vehicle over near Gordon Road, detected evidence narcotics might be present, and uncovered a small amount of marijuana in the vehicle, police said.
Mr. Parada was also charged with possession of CDS paraphernalia in a motor vehicle, operating a motor vehicle in possession of a CDS, and failure to dim high beams. He was arrested, charged and released pending court.
Kaptan Karsolia, 28, of Plainsboro, was charged with DWI and other offenses after a traffic stop at 12:30 a.m., June 3, police said.
Patrolman Thomas Egan saw a vehicle traveling northbound on Route 130 at a high rate of speed and pulled it over near Tony’s Farm Market, police said. The officer detected the odor of alcoholic beverages on the driver and asked him to perform field sobriety tests, which he failed, police said.
Mr. Karsolia was also charged with speeding, careless driving, reckless driving, being an uninsured driver, consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle and having an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle, police said. He was arrested, charged, processed and released pending a court date.
Martor Woodson, 19, of Hamilton, was charged with DWI, possession of marijuana and other offenses at 4:01 a.m., June 3, police said.
Patrolman Wayne Haugh responded to a disabled vehicle stopped in the middle of the Route 130 South near Route 33. The officer observed evidence the driver may be under the influence of drugs or alcohol and that narcotics might be present, police said. Mr. Woodson was asked to perform field sobriety tests, which he failed, police said. A subsequent search uncovered a small quantity of marijuana, police said.
Mr. Woodson was also charged with operating a motor vehicle while in possession of CDS, violation of a provisional driver’s license, reckless driving and careless driving, police said. He was arrested, charged, processed and released pending court.
Allentown
Rosario Alu, 20, of Cream Ridge, was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance (marijuana) after a traffic stop at 6:54 p.m., May 29 on South Main Street for speeding, police said.
Patrolman Timothy Houck arrested Mr. Alu and transported him to police headquarters where he was processed and released with a pending court date.
Tyler S. Erhard, 20, of Levittown, Pennsylvania, was charged with underage possession of alcohol after a traffic stop at 10:50 p.m., June 2 on South Main Street, police said.
Patrolman Richard Lerche arrested Mr. Erhard and transported him to headquarters where he was processed and released with a pending court date.
