Carissa Daino of Hillsborough received a doctor of dental medicine degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey on Wednesday, May 23, 2012, at ceremonies held at the Izod Center in East Rutherford. She is the daughter of Eugene and Patricia Daino of Hillsborough.
Carissa earned a bachelor of science in behavioral neuroscience from Lehigh University in 2007. Following graduation, Carissa will go on to an advanced education in general dentistry residency at the University of Connecticut Health Center in Farmington, Conn.
Eric F. New of Hillsborough has graduated summa cum laude from The College of New Jersey with a bachelor’s degree in mathematics.
Eric, a 2008 graduate of Hillsborough High School, was recently inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa honor society and is a member of the Alpha Epsilon Pi fraternity. Eric will enter the Ph.D. program at the University of Arizona in the fall, where he has been awarded a full scholarship in the applied mathematics program.
Bryan S. Huff of Hillsborough received a bachelor of science degree in civil engineering from Clarkson University in Potsdam, NY., on May 12, 2012.
Bryan was named a Presidential Scholar for the spring semester. Presidential Scholars must achieve a minimum 3.80 grade-point average and carry at least 14 credit hours.

Takeshi Horiguchi of Hillsborough received a bachelor of arts degree in English within the College of Arts & Sciences during May commencement ceremonies at the University of Vermont.

Jenna Leigh Stickle, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Stickle, of Hillsborough, graduated cum laude when she received a bachelor of arts degree with a major in English and certification in secondary education from Moravian College, Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, on May 31.
While at Moravian College, Jenna earned dean’s honor list standing and was inducted into Sigma Tau Delta international English honorary society. She was a member of the Moravian women’s soccer team.
