Anna Zmigrodski

Mrs. Zmigrodski, 81, of the Fords section of Woodbridge, died May 22, 2012. She was born on Sept. 22, 1930. She met her husband through her job at F. W. Woolworth, where she blew the closing whistle. They got married in 1952 and had five children. Mrs. Zmigrodski graduated from Berkeley College and worked for nine years at Exxon Mobile. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Peace Roman Catholic Church, Fords, and a member of the Fords/Keasbey Senior Citizens. She enjoyed reading and going on family outings, especially to the Jersey Shore. She was also an avid NewYork Mets fan. She was predeceased by her husband, Eugene; a daughter, Karen Desmond; and a sister, Eleanor Horner. Surviving are four children and three spouses, Jeannie and Frank Black of New Hampshire, Eugene and Denise Garner of Jackson, Glenn Zmigrodski, and Robert and Patricia Garner of Metuchen; and five grandchildren, Russell, Eugene, Joseph, Catherine and Beth. Funeral services were held at the Flynn and Son Funeral Home, Fords, followed by a funeral liturgy at Our Lady of Peace Church. Members of the Fords/Keasbey Senior Club met at the funeral home to pay their respects. Interment took place at St. Stephen Cemetery, Keasbey section of Woodbridge.
