HOLMDEL— You don’t need a passport to enjoy the music, dance and cuisine of the Grecian Isles. Hellenic culture can be experienced at the annual Greek Festival hosted by Kimisis Tis Theotokou Greek Orthodox Church in Holmdel June 7-10, rain or shine.
The annual festival will feature attractions for the entire family including rides, games, prizes, authentic Greek food and pastry, a boutique and souvenirs.
The festival showcases the church’s renowned Hellenic dancers, ages 8 through teens, who will perform traditional folk dances.
The festival will run Thursday, June 7, 6-10 p.m.; Friday, June 8, 4-11 p.m.; Saturday, June 9, 1 – 11 p.m.; and Sunday, June 10, noon – 8 p.m. Admission is free. Kimisis Tis Theotokou is located at 20 Hillcrest Road in Holmdel. For more information, visit www.kimisis.com.
