Arts council hosts summer camp, classes

Register for the Arts Council of Princeton’s summer classes for all ages, Summer Art Smart& Drama Camp for ages 4-9 at the Princeton Junior School (last two weeks are held at the Robeson Center), and Summer Arts Studios for ages 10-16 at the Paul Robeson Center for the Arts. Camps and classes begin the week of June 18 and run through Aug. 24. Scholarship applications are available on the Arts Council website; the deadline is June 8.

Offerings include classes in ceramics, sculpture, digital arts, darkroom photography, painting, and drawing. Full descriptions of courses are on www.artscouncilofprinceton.org.

New classes for adults include studio photography, woodblock printing, Altered Books, Introduction to Digital Illustration and CreativeWriting.

Teens can enroll in many adult classes, or they can choose from programs specifically created for them: Portfolio Prep, The College Essay and Photo-Graphic Apparel

Children’s classes include ceramics, Drawing Animals, Pop Art, Creative Writing, Kids Da Vinci and Drawing and Painting for Kids.
