Club, book groups will meet at library

The Old Bridge Public Library Main Branch, Route 516 and Cottrell Road, will sponsor a variety of upcoming group and club meetings for adults. All programs are free of charge and open to the public.

The schedule is as follows:

June 11 at 7 p.m. — The Ladies Night Out Book Discussion Group will meet to review “The Gurnsey Literary and Potato Peel Society” by Mary Ann Shaffer and Annie Barrows and “Hotel On the Corner of Bitter and Sweet” by Jamie Ford;

June 14 at 6:30 p.m. — The Bookenders Book Discussion Group will talk about “Angry Housewives Eating Bon-Bons” by Lorna Landvik;

June 21 at 7 p.m.— The Original Book Discussion Group will review “The Sweet Hereafter” by Russell Banks;

The Craft Club will meet twice weekly, Mondays at 6:30 p.m. and Thursdays at 1 p.m.;

The Scrabble Club will meet Thursdays at 1 p.m.;

The Adult Chess Club will meet Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m.;

The Bridge Club will meet Mondays at 12:30 p.m.
