FREEHOLDERS SCHEDULE MORTGAGE FORECLOSURE FORUMS
IN FLORENCE & DELANCO DURING MONTH OF JUNE
FORUM TONIGHT, JUNE 7TH, IN ROEBLING
County Residents Facing Foreclosure Issues Urged To Attend
Homeowners facing mortgage foreclosure or dealing with financial and credit issues that could result in foreclosure are encouraged to attend one of two Mortgage Foreclosure Forums being held over the next three weeks in Florence and Delanco Townships, Freeholder Mary Ann O’Brien announced today.
The first forum will be held next Thursday, June 7, 2012, at Roebling Fireman’s Hall, 69 Main Street, Roebling.  The second will be held Thursday, June 21, 2012, at the Delanco Municipal Building, 770 Coopertown Road, Delanco.  Both forums will run from 6 to 8 PM.
Sponsored by the Burlington County Freeholders through the Consumer Affairs Office, each forum will feature speakers with County, State, and non-profit agencies that specialize in financial counseling who will provide homeowners with instructions on what they can do to avoid foreclosure.
“We have held eight of these forums to date, and those who have attended have walked away with a wealth of advice and information on what they can do to avert losing their homes,” said O’Brien.  “The forums offer free practical advice, and our panel of experts also responds to specific problems and questions.”
