Police said they arrested and charged a man on North Main Street for possessing and uttering a fraudulent government document on May 23 at 11:42 a.m.
Flavio Ugna-Tamay, 29, of Twin Rivers, East Windsor, was stopped after making an improper turn. The driver presented a fraudulent Ecuadorian passport, according to police.
He was also charged with driving while suspended, failure to have child in safety seat, failure to maintain lane, failure to inspect, possession of a fictitious inspection sticker, and unlicensed driving.
Police said he was released pending court action.
Police charged a 21-year-old woman with contempt of court on May 23 at 5 p.m. on Stockton Street.
An officer spotted Trisheena Ames of Academy Street, Hightstown who was known to have a warrant issued by Bordentown Township Municipal Court.
Ms. Ames was released upon posting bail set at $120.
A 20-year-old man was charged with possession of heroin on Etra Road May 24 at 10:10 p.m., according to police.
An officer stopped Trevor Kennedy of Old York Road, East Windsor for speeding and upon conducting field interviews and searching the vehicle found heroin in a cigarette box under the driver’s seat.
Mr. Kennedy was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle and speeding. He was released pending court action.
Police charged a man from Dayton Florida with contempt of court on May 25 at 10:22 p.m.
Navjeet Thind, 25, turned himself in on a warrant issued by the Hightstown Borough Police Department.
He was later released upon posting bail.
Police charged a 22-year-old Twin Rivers North resident with contempt of court after he turned himself in on May 26 at 12:28 p.m.
Guillermo Saquicela turned himself in on a warrant issued by Hightstown Borough Municipal Court and was released upon posting bail, according to police.
A car accident at the intersection of South Main Street and Ward Street on May 26 at 11:38 a.m. resulted in the arrest of a Jackson resident.
Lino Romeo-Disantillo was charged with driving while intoxicated after officers investigating the crash noticed a strong smell of alcohol in his car.
According to police, neither driver was injured in the collision. Mr. Romeo-Disantillo has also been charged with driving while intoxicated in a school zone, reckless driving, careless driving, failure to observe a stop sign and failure to wear a seatbelt.
He was later released to family members with pending court action.
Police arrested and charged a Princeton woman with driving while intoxicated on May 27 at 1:52 a.m. on Stockton Street.
According to police, Stefanie Hofemann, 37, was stopped for speeding when the officer noticed the smell of alcohol in her car.
She was also charged with driving while intoxicated in a school zone, careless driving and speeding. Ms. Hofemann was released, pending court action.
Police charged a man from New Brunswick with driving while intoxicated on May 27 at 11:45 p.m. on North Main Street.
An officer stopped Aaron Wach, 22, for driving over the double yellow line and having a head light out, according to police.
He was also charged with driving while intoxicated in a school zone, unregistered vehicle, careless driving, failure to maintain lane and failure to maintain lamps.
After failing a field sobriety test Mr. Wach was taken into custody and later released upon being sober.
Police said they charged a man with contempt of court after responding to a disturbance call on May 29 at 4 p.m. on Mercer Street.
Kevin Sainsbury, 36, of Deerfield Apartments was revealed to have a warrant for a probation violation, issued by Mercer County Probation Department, according to police.
Mr. Sainsbury was taken into custody and was later released on his own recognizance.
Police said Jacob King, 58, of Newark was transported to the Mercer County Adult Correction Center from Essex County Jail on May 29 at noon. He will be held there in lieu of bail.
Police said they arrested and charged a man from Kipling Lane, East Windsor for driving while intoxicated on North Main Street on June 2 at 2:16 a.m.
According to police, Julio Mayorga, 47, was driving on top of the double yellow line and under speed limit when an officer pulled him over and noticed the smell of alcohol coming from his car.
Mr. Mayorga was also charged with driving while intoxicated in a school zone, delaying traffic, failure to maintain lane, open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle, consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle and reckless driving.
He was released to a friend, pending court action.
A 20-year-old woman was charged with driving while intoxicated on June 3 at 8:34 a.m. on Morrison Avenue.
Karla Gonzalez, of Second Avenue, Hightstown was pulled over after an officer noticed she had a broken brake light, police said. The officer noticed the smell of alcohol and administered a field sobriety test, which she failed, police said
Ms. Gonzalez was also charged with driving while intoxicated in a school zone, underage DWI, reckless driving and failure to maintain lamps and was released pending court action.
East Windsor
A 42-year-old man from Philadelphia was charged with driving while intoxicated on May 27 at 12:23 a.m. on Route 33 and Lake Drive.
Police arrested Sean Wells after receiving a tip of an intoxicated driver at the Shell gas station.
He was later released pending court action.
A bicycle was stolen outside of the Mercer County Library on May 30 between 6:30 p.m. and 6:45 p.m.
Police said the blue and white mountain bike was worth approximately $195.
Police charged a man with possession of marijuana under 50 grams on May 30 at noon outside the Mercer County Library
Anthony Desmond, 18, of Dutch Neck Road was arrested after an officer approached the suspiciously parked vehicle he was in.
He was later released pending court action.
Police said they arrested and charged a man with aggravated assault after he resisted arrest on June 2 at 5 a.m.
William Castro, 29, of Winchester Drive, was found lying in the middle of One Mile Road. He was uncooperative when police tried to arrest him on an outstanding warrant and kicked one of the officers, but did not injure him, according to police.
He was also charged with resisting arrest and disorderly conduct and was later released after posting bail.
Police said a school bus’s door window was smashed between 6 p.m. on June 1 and midnight on June 3 on Lake Drive.
Shalom Torah, the driver, discovered the damage valued at $250, police said.
Police arrested and charged a man with possession of marijuana under 50 grams on Route 130 South on June 3 at 11:37 p.m.
Evan Stout, 23, of Hamilton, was stopped for a defective taillight. Upon investigation the officer noticed the smell of marijuana, police said.
Mr. Stout was also charged with maintenance of lamps, defective muffler and drugs in a motor vehicle.
He was released pending court action.
A Windsor Castle residence was broken into between 7 a.m. and 1:14 p.m. on June 4, according to police.
A TV worth $500 was stolen from the apartment. Police said the incident is still under investigation.
