School of Rock Princeton is making it easy on the wallets of families whose Black Sabbath-loving son or daughter wants to learn how to play the band’s biggest hits.
“We’ll be offering a deep, heavy metal discount to a young musician and his/her friend or sibling who’d like to take part in our Black Sabbath camp later this month,” says Michael Vlaanderen, general manager of School of Rock Princeton. “Both rockers will be able to enjoy this amazing experience for the mark-of-the-devil price of $666, which is almost a 40% savings off of the regular fee for two campers.”
The Black Sabbath camp will take place at School of Rock Princeton’s location in Hamilton and will run from 10AM to 3PM, beginning on Monday, 6/25. On the camp’s final day, Friday, June 29, the campers will put on a show at the School for friends and family featuring the songs that they learned during the week.
“Campers will work on such Sabbath anthems as ‘Iron Man’, ‘Paranoid’, ‘The Wizard’, ‘War Pigs’, and ‘Sweet Leaf’,” explains Michael. “During the camp week, they’ll be given private and group lessons on guitar, bass, drums, keyboard, or vocals, and they’ll also learn music theory, rehearsal techniques, performance ideas, and participate in group band rehearsals.”
