SOUTH HUNTERDON: School board hopefuls file for the four Nov. 6 elections 

   On Tuesday — primary election day — candidates for open seats on Lambertville Public School, South Hunterdon Regional High School, Stockton Borough School and West Amwell Elementary School boards of education filed nominating petitions with the Hunterdon County clerk’s office.
   Thirteen seats are up for grabs in the Nov. 6 general election — the first time school board members will be picked at a general election.
   • Stockton Borough — Two seats (three-year terms) are open. They are held now by Jim Gallagher, of South Main Street, and Diane Walker-Torkelson, of Risler Street. Both are seeking re-election.
   • For South Hunterdon Regional High School, four seats are involved. Three are for three-year terms and are held now by Robert Campbell (Lambertville), Laurie Weinstein (Lambertville) and Boyd Hartpence (West Amwell). The fourth is a one-year term and is held by Gregg Rackin (Stockton).
   Filing Tuesday for the Lambertville seats were: Karen Conlon, of North Union Street, and David K. Burd, of Brunswick Avenue.
   Filing for the West Amwell Township seat was incumbent Boyd Hartpence, of Hunter Road.
   David L. Pasiczak, of Church Street, has filed to run for Stockton’s unexpired one-year seat on the South Hunterdon board. That seat is held now by Mr.  Rackin.
   • For Lambertville Public School’s board, three seats (three-year terms) are open. Those holding those seats are Derek Roseman, of Delevan Street; Grant Miller, of Clinton Street and John Woznicki, of Jean Street. All three are seeking re-election.
   • For West Amwell Township Elementary School’s board, four seats are open. Three are for three-year terms and are held now by John Dupuis, of Hewitt Road; Peter Gasparro, of Surrey Lane; and Andrea Little, of Lake View Road. All three are seeking re-election.
   The fourth, now held by Leila Rice, of Williamson Lane, is for a two-year unexpired term. Ms. Rice will seek that seat on Nov. 6.
