Lisa Berry, a resident of New Providence, New Jersey, has joined PGB Trust & Investments, the wealth management division of Peapack-Gladstone Bank, as vice president and wealth advisor.
Ms. Berry joins PGB Trust & Investments from U.S. Trust, Bank of America Private Wealth Management where she served as vice president and trust officer. She began her career at Chase Manhattan Bank, N.A. and is a graduate of the management development program. Ms. Berry has also served as vice president, relationship manager at Wachovia Bank, N.A.; vice president, trust development officer at PNC Bank, N.A.; and vice president, relationship manager at Citibank Private Bank. With over 25 years of wealth management experience, she is now part of the team responsible for the bank’s wealth advisory services and solutions.
Ms. Berry received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Douglass College, Rutgers University, New Brunswick, NJ. She obtained a certificate for financial planning at the College for Financial Planning in Denver, Colorado and holds the national designation of CTFA (certified trust and financial advisor). Ms. Berry served for five years on the nonprofit board of the Partnership for Philanthropy and was an honorary board member for the Cape May Jazz festival. Ms. Berry has also served as a volunteer at the Summit Speech School and has participated in the Ride for Autism. She enjoys cycling, kayaking, music and violin.
Bruce B. Ficken of Basking Ridge, New Jerseyhas joined PGB Trust & Investments and PGB Financial Services, the wealth management divisions of Peapack-Gladstone Bank, as assistant vice president and senior financial consultant.
Mr. Ficken joined the wealth management division in February 2012 from Merrill Lynch where he served as financial advisor. He has also served as wealth advisor at United Capital, financial professional at AXA Equitable and vice president at ARCS Commercial Mortgage Co., L.P. In addition to his experience in investments and insurance, Mr. Ficken brings 20 years experience in commercial and residential mortgage lending to the bank and its trust and investments team.
Mr. Ficken received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Tulane University and has two Master of Science degrees from New York University. He also holds a Certificate in Financial Planning from Columbia University.
Ficken is a Chairman of the Bernards Township Pleasant Valley Pool Commission, plays softball in the Bernards Township Over 40 Recreation League and is also a Bernards Township Recreation League girls’ softball coach.
Erik Vadeika, CFA, a resident of Glen Rock, New Jersey, has joined PGB Trust & Investments, the wealth management division of Peapack-Gladstone Bank, as vice president, senior portfolio manager.
Mr. Vadeika joins PGB Trust & Investments from Beacon Trust where he served as portfolio manager and member of the stock selection team. He began his career 23 years ago in the credit analysis training program at Midlantic Bank. In addition, Mr. Vadeika was also responsible for portfolios and investments at PNC Wealth Management and the American Stock Exchange.
Mr. Vadeika received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Management from Gettysburg College, is a CFA Charterholder, and is a member of the New York Society of Security Analysts. Mr. Vadeika enjoys competing in triathlons and spending time with his wife and three sons.
