The Women’s Health Center at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township, has been designated a certified Pink Ribbon Facility by Hologic, the makers of Selenia digital mammography. Pink Ribbon designation is a distinction awarded only to an elite group of health care facilities that offer this latest, state-of-the-art digital technology for breast cancer detection. In addition to becoming a Pink Ribbon Facility, the Women’s Health Center is a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence as recognized by the American College of Radiology, which is considered the gold seal of approval in assuring that a facility meets the highest level of patient safety standards and image quality.

The Tallit Corner Judaica shop in Marlboro is celebrating its grand opening through July 1. The new shop carries unique, handmade, hard-to-find Judaica, such as tallitot (tallits), ladies’ and men’s head coverings (yarmulkes), jewelry, wall art, pottery, mezuzot, CDs, DVDs and books. The shop will feature the work of Judaic artisans and will carry such items as colorful hamsa pendants and keychains and Jewish-themed iPod, iPhone and laptop covers. The shop’s main feature is the handwoven and custom-ordered tallitot. The Tallit Corner Judaica shop is on the second floor of the Green House building, 7 S. Main St. (Route 79), Marlboro, and is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Sunday through Friday, during the summer months.

Monmouth County attorney Angela White Dalton of Howell has become the treasurer of the New Jersey State Bar Association. She was sworn in on May 17 at the association’s annual meeting and convention at the Borgata in Atlantic City. Dalton is on track to become president of the association in 2016. Dalton is a partner with Zager Fuchs P.C., and handles probate, guardianship and chancery litigation, as well as estate planning and administration. She has served as chair of the state bar’s Young Lawyers Division and the Women in the Profession Section, and is a co-chair of the Judicial Administration Committee. She is also active with the Monmouth Bar Association and the American Bar Association.

The iPlay America indoor theme park, Freehold Township, is unveiling a new pricing policy that will make it easier for people to enjoy all of the attractions the park has to offer. There will be no admission charge to enter iPlay America and the park will offer two unlimited ride packages that feature a variety of entertainment options.

The theme park will also have individual pricing for rides, attractions and amusements based on credits. There will be major discounts for Pay as You Go customers. Credits do not expire on the date of purchase and can be saved for future visits.

Daniel R. Guadalupe, Esq., has been elected to the Board of Trustees for CentraState Healthcare System, Freehold Township .

Guadalupe is an equity member of the regional law firm of Norris, McLaughlin, and Marcus, a 150-attorney commercial firm with offices in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and New York City. He was appointed last year by Gov. Chris Christie to the New Jersey Center for Hispanic Policy and Research, the governor’s leading advisory committee on Hispanic issues.

He is the main U.S. outside counsel for the Swiss medical equipment manufacturer Schiller A.G. and Schiller America, and medical device company Life Medical Technologies.

CentraState’s Board of Trustees oversees a nonprofit community health organization consisting of an acute-care hospital, a health and wellness campus, three senior living communities, a family medicine residency program and a charitable foundation.
