A South Triangle Road man was charged Monday with a lewdness disorderly persons offense after a call to police by a woman driving by with her 14-year-old daughter as a passenger.
The woman said her daughter saw the man masturbating in front of a glass storm door inside the residence at 3:53 p.m.
Township police detectives interviewed the man, Dax Ramos-Rosa, 19. Police said he admitted to being naked in front of the door, but denied masturbating.
Bail was set at $500, which he posted. He was released pending a municipal court hearing.
Police said a Toyota Camry crashed head-on into a dump truck along Millstone River Road, just south of Blackwells Mills Road in Hillsborough, yesterday, Wednesday, at 7:22 a.m.
Kadiatu Wilson, 32, of North Brunswick was travelling north along Millstone River Road when her car struck a guardrail, crossed the road into oncoming traffic before striking the truck, driven by James Chambon, 22, of Martinsville.
According to police, the impact of the crash caused the fuel tank of the truck to tear open, spilling diesel fuel onto the shoulder of the road and the embankment.
The Hillsborough Rescue Squad transported one of the passengers in the truck to Somerset Medial Center for treatment.
Because of the fuel spill, both the Somerset County Hazmat Unit and Hillsborough Board of Health responded.
Police shut down the road while the spill was cleaned up. Police said the accident is still under investigation.
On June 7 a Route 206 landscaping business reported $800 worth of plants had been stolen from the front of the business during overnight hours.
On June 6 Donald Guillaume, 46, of Lawrenceville was arrested on a pending South Brunswick warrant during traffic stop on Valley Road.
A Tall Oak Lane resident reported June 2 that a vehicle was burglarized during the overnight hours. Credit cards and a PBA card were reported stolen.
Two McIntire Drive residents reported May 31 their vehicles were burglarized and a total of $300 worth of electronics were stolen from the two.
A South Branch Road resident reported May 26 that a Honda motorcycle, with an estimated value of $1,100, was stolen from the backyard sometime overnight.
Stephen Manzi, 20, of Fanwood, was charged with possession of marijuana during a Route 206 traffic stop on April 28. Mr. Manzi was released after also being charged with possession of drug marijuana.
Ryan Rivera, 25, of Greenville, N.C., and Tyson Rivera, 23, of Grifton, N.C., were charged with criminal mischief April 27 when an officer saw they cutting shrubs in front of a Route 206 realty office.
Tyson Rivera was also charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. When questioned by officers, the two said they sell the shrub cuttings, police said.
Police reported two driving-while-intoxicated charges.
In one, Matthew Luksza, 43, of Middlesex was arrested May 26 while driving a Ford on Roycefield Road, Mr. Luksza was released after also being charged with driving on a suspended license, driving without insurance and refusing to submit to breath testing.
In the other, Andy Chu, 22, of Hillsborough was charged May 15 after he was involved in a one-car accident at South Branch and East Mountain roads. Mr. Chu allegedly registered a blood-alcohol reading of 0.14 percent. He was released after being charged with careless driving and failing to wear a seatbelt.
Nicole Burke, 22, of Brick was charged April 19 with possession of marijuana during an accident investigation at Willow and Hillsborough roads. Ms. Burke was released after being charged with operating a motor vehicle while in possession of a controlled dangerous substance.
Marc McKnight III, 31, of Newark was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, resisting arrest and obstructing justice while officers were investigating suspicious activity on Capricorn Drive on April 14.
