NJ Hellrazors Roller Derby
Come see one of the fastest growing sports of its time, flat-track roller derby, in Kendall Park, NJ, on Sunday, July 1. The New Jersey Hellrazors women’s roller derby team fires up Independence Day week by hosting the Skyland Roller Girls of Hackettstown, NJ, in an exciting and highly anticipated hard-hitting rematch from last season. The NJ Hellrazors are joined by WCTC 1450AM New Brunswick’s radio host, Bert Baron (a.k.a. "Mark Slamchez") who will announce the event live, and New Brunswick based pop rock and roll band, Mr. Payday, who is scheduled to perform a fun and energetic half-time show.
The NJ Hellrazors kicked off their 2012 season with away match-ups against the Shore Points Rollergirls in Egg Harbor Township followed by two nail-biter victories against the Jerzey Derby Brigade in Morristown and the Salisbury Rollergirls in Maryland. The Hellrazors hope to enhance their 2 and 1 record against fellow New Jersey-based Skyland Roller Girls on July 1.
This event takes place on Sunday, July 1, with doors opening at 6:30 pm (whistle at 7:00pm) at the Kendall Park Roller Rink, 3550 Rt. 27, Kendall Park, NJ (just 15 minutes outside of Princeton and New Brunswick). The first 50 fans in attendance receive a free Hellrazors button.
