Mr. Carraher, 76, of Howell, formerly of Brooklyn and Staten Island, N.Y., died June 6, 2012, at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Prior to retiring, he was employed as a back office manager for Clark, Dodge & Company. Mr. Carraherwas aU.S. Army veteran serving during Korean War. He was predeceased by his wife, Johanna Terzo Carraher, in 2011; and a son, James Carraher, in 2001. Surviving are a daughter, Eileen Kane and her husband, Edward, of Freehold Township; four grandchildren; and a sister, Alice Doody, of Lakewood. Afuneral was held at St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, Freehold Township, followed by entombment in St. Gabriel’s Cemetery & Chapel Mausoleum, Marlboro. Arrangements were by the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, Freehold Township. Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
