Kelson Fagan, son of Mike and Lisa Fagan of Hillsborough, recently received a master’s degree in new media studies from DePaul University in Chicago. He had previously earned his bachelor’s degree in corporate communications from Elon (N.C.) University in 2007.
Kelson, who makes his home in Chicago now, is a 2003 graduate of Immaculata High School.
Golda Danquah of Hillsborough received her practical nursing degree from Dover Business College on May 12.
More than 500 students from the Clifton and Dover Campuses earned career-specific diplomas in the fields of healthcare, business, and information technology.
Students who received practical nurse diplomas were eligible to attend a pinning ceremony held before the commencement ceremony.
Amanda Laura Hirsch, daughter of Dr. Charles Hirsch of Annandale and Barbara Hirsch of Hillsborough, graduated from Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pa., on May 20 with a bachelor of arts degree in art and art history. Amanda is a graduate of Hillsborough High School.
Kaitlyn Meyer of Hillsborough received a master of science degree in speech-language pathology from Towson University on May 24.
During graduate school Kaitlyn began research in fluency disorders and presented her findings at the Maryland Speech-Language and Hearing Association Conference and at the Oxford (England) Dysfluency Convention. Her research was subsequently published in a speech and hearing journal.
Kaitlyn, the daughter of Ted and Nancy Meyer, is a 2006 graduate of Hillsborough High School. She is employed by the Flemington-Raritan Board of Education.
