Breasia Askew, 19, of Morrisville, Pa., and Elijah A. Harmon, 22, of Trenton, were charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia when the car that Mr. Harmon was driving was stopped by police on Brunswick Pike at 1:39 a.m. June 17. Mr. Harmon was also charged with tampering with public records and hindering apprehension, and several motor vehicle violations. Ms. Askew was released on a summons, but Mr. Harmon was taken to the Mercer County Corrections Center on $2,000 bail.
A Hamilton Township resident reported the theft of her Iphone, valued at $550, while she was shopping at the Burlington Coat Factory at the Lawrence Shopping Center between 6:04 p.m. and 6:11 p.m. June 11. She recalled using it to answer a text message and discovered it was missing when she reached into her purse to pay for some items.
A 14-year-old Lawrence High School student reported the theft of his Droid Razr cellphone, valued at $600, plus $40 in cash, from his backpack that he had left underneath a bench in the boys locker room between 10:50 a.m. and 11:35 a.m. June 11.
Justin M. Coleman, 27, of Newark, Chad D. White, 21, of Newark, and Tymande E. Horton, 25, of Hillside, were charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana when the car that Mr. Coleman was driving was stopped by police on Pear Street at 12:47 a.m. June 10. Mr. Coleman was also charged with several motor vehicle violations, and Mr. Horton was charged with hindering apprehension for giving false information to police. Mr. Coleman and Mr. White were released on summonses, but Mr. Horton was taken to the Mercer County Corrections Center on $2,000 bail for outstanding warrants.
