The Young Adult Department of the Metuchen Public Library, 480 Middlesex Ave., will kick off its summer film series, “From Book to Screen,” on Wednesday, June 27, at 8 p.m. with “Me and Orson Welles” (PG-13). The film is based on the novel by Metuchen resident Robert Kaplow and stars Clare Danes, Zac Efron and Christian McKay. All ages are welcome.
Other films in the series are:
• July 19 — “It’s Kind of a Funny Story”;
• Aug. 23 — “Nick and Nora’s Infinite Playlist.”
