Alyson Beth O’Connor, daughter of Jayne and Jonathan O’Connor of Hillsborough, graduated on Mother’s Day, May 13, from Rutgers School of Environmental and Biological Sciences and the Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy with a bachelor of science degree.
Alyson was named to the dean’s list for the fall semester, achieving a 4.0 grade-point average.
Alyson Beth is a medical health technician at the Carrier Clinic in Belle Mead, employed in the adult psychiatric and addiction unit.
Alyson also works at Your Drs. Care medical office, where she is a physician assistant trainee, and parttime as a gymnastic teacher at D.C. Gymnastics in Hillsborough.
Alyson also attends Raritan Valley Community College, where she was named to the dean’s list for the spring semester. Alyson is planning on going to graduate school, where she will pursue her education as a physician’s assistant.
Two Hillsborough students received degrees from Widener University during commencement ceremony on May 12. The university presented degrees to August 2011, December 2011 and May 2012 graduates.
Sarah Conover of Hillsborough received a bachelor’s degree in elementary education.
Adam Fisher of Hillsborough received a bachelor’s degree in management.
Greg Kenneth Johnson of Hillsborough graduated May 11 with a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering from Clemson (S.C.) University, which awarded 2,242 bachelor, 514 master and 85 doctoral degrees at three commencement ceremonies.
Kaitlin Kordusky of Hillsborough received a bachelor of science degree in public health from Temple University in Philadelphia on May 10.
Kaitlin, a 2008 Hillsborough High graduate, has accepted a position with the Bernards Township health department and will begin work this fall on a master’s degree in public health at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey.
