Julianna Lubbe, a Robbinsville Girl Scout in Troop 70288, has met the requirements for completing the Girl Scout Silver Award—the second highest award a Girl Scout Cadette can earn. Her project was aimed at helping recipients of Robbinsville Meals on Wheels with practical gifts accompanying meal deliveries. In order to fulfill all the requirements for earning this distinguished badge, Julianna’s project must be accepted by an organized group outside the Girl Scout community that agrees to continue the project. Robbinsville Womens Club agreed to accept the project which they dubbed “Project Comfort.” Andrea Broadbent, who will chair this project for Robbinsville Womens Club, said, “Project Comfort” was conceived by a young lady who has demonstrated leadership, organization, dedication and know-how for improving her community. We applaud Julianna for this accomplishment.”
