HILLSBOROUGH: College graduates share the news

   In May, Jennifer Laufhutte Perhac earned her doctorate in occupational therapy from Thomas Jefferson University in Center City, Philadelphia, while working fulltime as an occupational therapist in the Hillsborough school district. She gained her undergraduate degree at the university in December 2004.
   She was a 1999 graduate of Hillsborough High School.
   She earned national certification as an occupational therapist registered (OTR) in March 2005 by the National Board of Certification in Occupational Therapy.
   She works for the Hillsborough Board of Education, is married and lives in Flemington.

   Four Hillsborough residents were among the almost 3,000 undergraduate and 738 graduate students who received degrees at commencement exercises at the University of Rhode Island, in Kingston, on Saturday and Sunday, May 19-20.
   The Hillsborough residents are:
   Gregory D. Frasher, who received a bachelor of arts degree in communication studies.
   Nicole I. Sutherlin, who received a bachelor’s degree in supply chain management.
   Samantha E. Allyn, who received a bachelor of arts degree in psychology, cum laude, for achieving a grade-point average of at least 3.3.
   Emily R. Abramson, who received a master of science degree in speech-language pathology.

   Glenn Solomon, a student from Hillsborough, graduated with a bachelor of science degree from Centenary College in Hackettstown on May 12.
   Bill Evans, senior meteorologist for Channel 7 Eyewitness News, addressed Centenary’s 508 graduates who participated in the ceremony.
