HILLSBOROUGH: Music in the Park series continues tonight and through July

   Music in the Park continues tonight, Thursday, at Ann Van Middlesworth Park from 7 to 8:30 with a concert by fan favorite SunDog.
   The free five-concert series continues every Thursday in July and features local bands from different genres (big band, country, soft rock and, new this year, acoustic.
   The park is off Pleasant View Road, which intersects Amwell Road one-half mile west of the high school.
   Sun Dog covers many genres, including current hits, 1980s rock and pop, classic rock, early rock ‘n roll and country and southern rock. The band also writes and performs its own music.
   The July 12 act will be announced. On July 19, Scott Langdon and Lou Davelman will play. On July 26, it will be The Tone Rangers.
   All are welcome and encouraged to bring camp chairs or a blanket for seating. Snacks will be available for purchase from the high school’s Robotics Club.
   The summer series is sponsored by the Parks and Recreation department and the nonprofit Hillsborough Education Foundation, which has been serving the community for 20 years and is committed to building Hillsborough as a learning community.
