The 2012 Shad Festival Scholarship Poster Auction raised $33,000, largely due to the efforts, innovation and ingenuity of Auction Chairman Kevin Griffin, a local graphic designer .
The auction “would not be possible without the artists, many of whom generously donate their original works of art year after year. We also depend upon the volunteers who make the auction run smoothly,” said a spokesman.
”Thanks to auction supporters, Lambertville Station and Hunterdon Medical Center Foundation, which help defray the expenses involved in producing the auction. A big thank-you goes, as well, to the members of the Selection Committee,” the spokesman said.
The Robins Egg Gallery provided the backdrop for this year’s Shad Festival Scholarship recipient reception, held June 25t at the gallery on Bridge Street.
