Forty-eight golfers attended Carrier Clinic’s Golf Classic at Cherry Valley Country Club recently to support the 102-year old non-profit behavioral health care facility. The networking event raised over $26,000, and educated attendees on the importance of addressing mental health and addiction illnesses within the community.
Carrier Clinic provides mental health and addiction services to more that 5,000 teens, adults and older adults each year. Carrier’s behavioral healthcare system includes an inpatient hospital for adolescents, adults and older adults, a detoxification and rehabilitation center, an adolescent residential facility and a fully accredited special education school for children in grades 7-12.
