Police blotter items from Robbinsville and Allentown

Robbinsville

   A 5,000-watt red Powermate generator valued at $600 was stolen from a storage garage at a construction site on Route 130 North July 2. Patrolman Michael Farrell took the report at 8:55 a.m.


   Someone stole 2 yards of mulch from A&M Market on Route 130 at 6:55 p.m., July 2, police said. The owner told Patrolman William Swanhart that an unidentified person took the mulch, valued at $75, without paying for it.


   William Loman III, 31, of Ewing, was charged with driving while intoxicated and other offenses after a motor vehicle stop at 3:23 a.m., July 4, police said.
   Patrolman Thomas Paglione saw a vehicle speeding and making a lane change without signaling on Route 130 South near Route 33. While speaking with the driver, the officer detected evidence that he may be intoxicated and asked him to perform field sobriety tests, which he failed, police said.
   Mr. Loman was also charged with refusal to submit to a breath test, reckless driving, careless driving, speeding, failing to use a turn signal and having no insurance, police said. He was arrested, processed and released pending court.


   Pablo Kathcart, 18, of Hamilton, was charged with possession of synthetic marijuana and controlled dangerous substance paraphernalia duing a traffic stop at 2:47 a.m. July 5, police said.
   Patrolman Scott Kivet saw a vehicle traveling east on Route 33 with a front windshield obstruction and high beams on. The officer pulled the vehicle over on Route 130 North near Gordon Road and while speaking with the occupants detected evidence of narcotics. A subsequent search uncovered synthetic marijuana and CDS paraphernalia, police said.
   Mr. Kathcart, one of the passengers, was arrested, charged and released pending court, police said.
   Debora Narvaez, 51, of East Windsor, was charged with DWI and other offenses after a traffic stop at 11:56 p.m. July 5, police said.
   Patrolman Scott Kivet saw a vehicle traveling north on Route 130 that failed to stop for a traffic light at the Route 33 intersection and failed to maintain its lane, police said. The officer stopped the vehicle near Woodside Road and detected evidence the driver was intoxicated, police said.
   Ms. Narvaez was asked to perform field sobriety tests, which she failed, police said. She was also charged with reckless driving, careless driving, failure to maintain lane and having a front windshield obstruction, police said. She was arrested, charged and released pending court.


   A Richardson Road resident returned home from vacation to find that someone had removed a part of his air-conditioning unit while he was away, rendering it inoperable.
   The theft and criminal mischief was reported to Patrolman William Swanhart at 9:39 p.m. on July 7. The cost to replace the stolen part and repair the air-conditioning unit is estimated at $600, police said.


Allentown

   Andrea C. Landau, 26, of Cream Ridge, was charged with driving while suspended at 5:30 p.m., June 28, police said.
   Patrolman Richard Lerche made the arrest during a traffic stop on South Main Street. Ms. Landau was processed and released pending court.


   Austin M. Bell, 23, of New Egypt, was charged with driving while suspended on June 30, police said.
   Patrolman Thomas Malatesta made the arrest during a traffic stop on High Street. Mr. Bell was processed and released pending court.


   Jay E. Farrar, 62, of Orlando, Florida, was charged with driving while suspended at 3:52 p.m., July 2, police said.
   Patrolman Thomas Malatesta made the arrest after stopping Mr. Farrar for using a cell phone while driving, police said. Mr. Farrar was processed and released pending court.


   William Devall III, 26, no hometown given, was charged with driving while suspended at 10 p.m., July 3, police said.
   Patrolman Timothy Houck made the arrest after stopping Mr. Devall for speeding on South Main Street, police said. Mr. Devall was arrested, processed and released pending court.


   John C. Rice, 44, of the Bronx, New York, was charged with driving while suspended at 8 a.m., July 6, police said.
   Patrolman Timothy Houck made the arrest during a traffic stop on High Street, police said. Mr. Rice was arrested, processed and released pending court.
