To the editor:
I want to express my appreciation to all my present and past colleagues at Lawrenceville Elementary School and throughout the district for the wonderful sendoff given me at my recent retirement.
My time at LES was a very rewarding experience and though I know it’s time I retire with very mixed feelings. I have such fond memories of everyone at LES, principal, secretary, nurse, teachers, custodians, fellow teaching assistants, etc., and will miss them more than they know. Everyone there does an outstanding job for the children of our community and it’s been an honor to be part of that team.
It was a particular pleasure to work with Jeff Berry and I looked forward to working with the children every day of every year.
Lastly my special thanks to Lea Kahn for her kind article about me.
I now look forward to the next chapter of my life though I’m sure retirement won’t really sink in until September when I don’t go back to work.
