Police received two calls about a large black dog wearing a red harness running on South Main Street around 8 a.m. July 2.
Police found the dog and contacted animal control.
A caller reported a loose black shepherd dog on his porch around 11:30 a.m. July 3.
Animal control found and secured the dog.
Police said a caller reported two documents were taken from an unlocked firebox in his South Street apartment July 3 around 6 p.m.
The caller provided police with the name of a person he suspected.
A woman alerted police to a suspicious man sleeping on the back porch of her West Camplain Road home July 4 at 7:47 a.m.
Police found the man and brought him back to his home.
Police responded to eight separate calls involving fireworks the night of July 4.
Police responded to each incident and told residents to stop for the evening if they still were shooting fireworks. No arrests were made.
A Hillsborough boy was charged with drunken driving July 5 at 1:30 a.m. on South Main Street.
The boy was released to his mother.
A caller reported a store on West Camplain Road was broken into July 6 around 6 a.m.
The person stole 40 to 50 cartons of cigarettes valued at $3,500. The incident is still under investigation.
A caller warned police of a suspicious man entering a residence along Roosevelt Avenue through the window July 7 at 6.
Police responded and found the homeowner at the residence.
A woman called to report a group of people entered her unlocked car on South 8th Avenue July 8 at 3:47 p.m.
Nothing was taken from the car.
Police talked to a woman July 8 at 11:21 p.m. about her involvement in a road rage incident with another driver who was reported to be circling a block along North 9th Avenue where the woman lives.
