Divy Tolia is from Hillsborough is a member of the Raritan Valley Community College SIFE (Students In Free Enterprise) team that was named national “Rookie of the Year” at a national meeting May 22-24 in Kansas City, Missouri.
The SIFE-RVCC team had been named both regional champion and “Rookie of the Year” at a competition April 11 in New York City.
Student, academic and industry leaders comprise the SIFE network. SIFE participants have a knowledge and passion for business and contribute their talents to projects that improve the lives of people worldwide.
During the 2011-12 academic year, the SIFE-RVCC team organized seven projects in Branchburg and surrounding communities. These include the Campbell’s “Let’s Can Hunger” Challenge.
Other team members were Desai Shaishav of Raritan, Kevin Turnbull of Warren Township, Bibiana Bendikova from Monmouth Junction and Katerina Roskova of Warren Township.
