Christina Kwon of Hillsborough was named to spring dean’s list at Wilkes University in Wilkes-Barre, Pa.
To be named, students must obtain a minimum 3.4 GPA and carry at least 12 credits.
Emily Bales of Hillsborough earned the Marist College dean’s list for the spring semester in Poughkeepsie, N.Y. She’s a member of the Class of 2012 and majored in communication and advertising.
William J. Kretz III, a Hillsborough resident and 2011 Immaculata High School graduate, has been named to the dean’s list at the University of Richmond (Va.) for both the fall and spring semesters.
He was also honored with the university’s “All A’s” distinction, which is awarded to students who earn a minimum GPA of 3.7 with no grade below an A-minus.
William was also inducted into the university’s chapter of Phi Eta Sigma, which is an honor society that recognizes high scholastic achievement among members of the freshman class.
Thomas Giangarra, a 2011 graduate of Hillsborough High School, has completed his freshmen year at the University of South Carolina in Columbia. Thomas made the dean’s list with a grade-point average of 3.7 and is a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars.
Bethany Warn, a 2009 graduate of Hillsborough High School, was placed on the Dean’s Honor List with a 4.0 grade-point average for the spring semester at Albright College in Reading, Pa.
Bethany is the daughter of John and Karen Warn and is majoring in fashion merchandising,
Hillsborough student Lea Kimmelman, a speech pathology major, was named to the dean’s list at Hofstra University in Hempstead, N.Y., for the spring semester with a 3.9 grade-point average.
To qualify, a student must have a 3.4 GPA and carry at least 12 credits.
