NEW HOPE — The 55th annual New Hope Automobile Show, presented by Porsche, has announced its third annual “Road Rally.”
The Road Rally is a spirited competition open to all legal driving enthusiasts and takes place on July 29 at 10 a.m. It is sponsored by Solebury Parks & Recreation.
All participants should meet at the New Hope-Solebury High School parking lot. Cost is $25 per car. Registration is not required and all automobiles are welcome. Participants will receive a list of questions to help navigate to the final destination.
The rally is not a timed race nor based on speed, but a quest to answer the “scavenger-like” questions correctly and make it to the “unknown” last stop where winners will be announced. Visit www.NewHopeAutoShow.com for more information.
”As a participant in both of the rally’s and previous winner, I’m thrilled to be coordinating this year’s rally,” said Rally Master Rick Gould.
The antique and classic car show will take place on Aug. 11 and 12 at the New Hope-Solebury High School. The grounds will be open from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. daily.
Tickets are sold at the gate: $5 for the general public, $3 for seniors and free for military and children under 12.
On-site parking is available for $5 a day. For more information, visit www.NewHopeAutoShow.com or call 215.862.5665.
The New Hope Automobile Show, sponsored by the New Hope-Solebury Community Association, is one of the oldest and most celebrated auto shows in the country. From its inception, the show has provided scholarships for students at the New Hope-Solebury High School.
