A former Eves Drive resident was sentenced today, Friday, July 20, to 16 years in state prison without parole following his conviction in February for aggravated sexual assault of a 14-year-old girl between September 2008 and June 2009 in Hillsborough.
Edward C. Forsthoffer, 41, also was found guilty of endangering the welfare of a child in the second degree.
Superior Court Judge Julie Marino levied the sentence.
Mr. Forsthoffer should be confused with former Hillsborough Township Superintendent of Schools Edward J. Forsthoffer Jr.
In September 2009, Mr. Forsthoffer was arrested at the Montgomery Township Police Department Friday after he was taken from his place of employment in Montgomery.
