   Friday, Aug. 3 — Annual township campout and fishing derby in Ann Van Middlesworth Park. Register with the Recreation Department at www.hillsborough-nj.org by July 31. $5 campout fee brings light breakfast.
Purple Heart group
sponsors ceremony
   Tuesday, Aug. 7 — Local chapter of the Military Order of the Purple Heart will sponsor service to honor medal recipients and dedicate monument. 6:30 p.m. at Municipal Building’s Garden of Honor.
Rotary Club to host
its annual carnival
   Aug. 14-19 — Annual Rotary Club fair in the Lowe’s parking lot in the Hillsborough Promenade. Rides, games, food. 6-10 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday, and 2-8 p.m. Sunday.
