Modified stock car match races and a 50-lap main event for the all-new 4 Cylinder division will highlight auto racing action at Wall Stadium, Route 34, Wall Township, on Aug. 4. Qualifying will start at 6 p.m. and main events will follow. For the first time ever, the Modifieds will compete in match races where groups of two cars will compete head to head, with the winner advancing and the loser being eliminated. This series of eliminations will continue until only two cars remain to race for the overall title. The winner of each race will pocket $250.
