Marc E. Malecki, a fourth year student in a five-year program in business and technology at Stevens Institute of Technology was named to the dean’s list for the spring semester with a 3.40 grade-point average.
Marc has been a dean’s list student throughout his college career.
Marc’s sister, Elyse, and brother, Alex, who are twins, recently graduated from Hillsborough High School. In the fall Alex will join his brother Marc at Stevens Institute, where they will both play lacrosse. Last season, Stevens captured its first Empire 8 Conference title in lacrosse and advanced to the NCAA Division III playoffs for a second consecutive year.
Elyse was accepted as an honor student at Central Connecticut State University in the fall and given a lacrosse scholarship. CCSU is a Division I lacrosse school.
Alexander Psihoules of Hillsborough was named to the dean’s list for the spring semester at the University of New Hampshire in Durham.
He earned honors for achieving a grade-point average between 3.2 and 3.49.
Kenny Gan, a 2011 Hillsborough High School graduate, was recently named to the dean’s list at Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken for the spring session.
Four Hillsborough residents — Alyssa Dezic, Matthew Coheleach, Christopher DelMaestro and Jessica Sbrilli — were named to the spring semester dean’s list at Drew University in Madison. To qualify, students must earn a grade-point average of 3.4 or better, which is equivalent to a B+ or better.
Kelsey Opperman of Hillsborough has earned academic honors at Purdue University in West Lafayette, Ind., for the spring semester.
Students must have had at least a 3.5 semester or cumulative grade-point average on a 4.0 scale.
Hillsborough’s Nicholas Ackerman, a member of the class of 2015, has been named to the Dean’s List at Providence College for the spring semester. To qualify, students must achieve at least a 3.55 grade-point average with a minimum of 12 credits.
Hillsborough’s Amanda Kohn, a student in the Harpur College of Arts and Sciences,was named to the spring semester dean’s list at Binghamton (N.Y.) University.
