HILLSBOROUGH: Police blotter, week of Aug. 2

   A Surrey Drive resident reported July 22 that two tires on a blue Toyota were slashed during overnight hours while the car was parked in front of the home. The estimated value of the damage was $400.

   On July 21, a Route 206 church was reported broken into during the overnight hours. Nothing was reported stolen, police said. The township police detective bureau is investigating.

   On July 14 three vehicles were reported burglarized during the overnight hours on Dorchester Court, Gemini and Capricorn Drive in the Beekman Gardens apartments and $1,350 worth of electronics were reported stolen from three victims.

   Angle O. Arroyo-Triniidad, 29, of New Brunswick was arrested July 15 on three pending New Brunswick warrants totaling $1,000.

   Lisa Gigantino, 37, of Hillsborough was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated after she was involved in a one-car crash on River Road of July 16. She was released after being charged with careless driving. The matter is pending blood analysis, police said.
