POLICE BLOTTER: Aug. 3

Princeton Township
   Dianne Zide, 48, of Newtown, Pa., and Diana Swainson, 62, of Ewing, were in an accident on Route 206 near Quaker Road on July 26 at 9:02 a.m. Ms. Zide received a summons for careless driving.
   A resident of Christopher Drive reported the convertible top to his car was damaged while parked in his driveway over the weekend of July 20 and July 23. Police said they received no similar reports of damage in the area.
   Jordan Lyons, 24, of Princeton, and David Goodman, 66, of Princeton, were in an accident on Witherspoon Street at Birch Avenue on July 27 at 6:40 p.m. Mr. Lyons received summonses for careless driving, leaving the scene of an accident and failure to report an accident.
   Ryan Alessandrini, 26, of Princeton, was charged with having two warrants totaling $850 at a residence in William Livingston Court on July 29 at 9:42 p.m. Mr. Alessandrini posted $100 for the first warrant but was turned over to Plainsboro police when he was unable to post bail on the second warrant.
   Michelle Coleman, 59, of Robbinsville, was in an accident on July 30 at 2:05 p.m. when she was emerging from a driveway on State Road and a tire from a passing truck fell off and struck her car. Police said they were unable to locate the truck.
   Marco Umanzor, 18, of New Brunswick, was charged with possession of marijuana under 50 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia on the property of Riverside Elementary School on July 27 at 9:24 p.m.

Montgomery
   Residents of Burnt Hill Road reported their master bedroom was ransacked and several pieces of jewelry were stolen on July 20 at 12:44 p.m. Police said the victims were out for approximately two hours when their neighbor contacted them after seeing someone break into the house through the rear door. The burglary is under investigation by the Montgomery Township Detective Bureau.
Plainsboro
   Jamie I. Coraggio, 40, of Plainsboro, was charged with driving while intoxicated on Plainsboro Road on July 31 at 1:09 a.m. He also received summonses for reckless driving and maintenance of lamps.
   A resident of Fox Run Drive reported identity theft when one credit card account was opened and attempts to open three others in the victim’s name were made sometime between July 25 and July 28 in Georgia. Police said the credit card companies are withholding the total amount of fraudulent purchases that were made on the opened account until further police investigation.
   A resident of Fox Run Drive reported that one of his tires on his car was punctured with a 12 inch iron rod sometime between July 28 and July 30. Police estimated the damage to be $147.50.
   A resident of Hunters Glen Drive reported multiple unauthorized purchases totaling $96.40 were made on her credit and debit cards sometime between July 29 and July 30.
