POLICE BLOTTER: Week of Aug. 3

East Windsor
   Police charged a 60-year-old man and a 22-year-old woman with possession of Cocaine on July 14 at 2:22 a.m.
   Raymond Lockhart, of Berlin, and Ashley Roasrio, of Sicklerville, were pulled over on Route 130 for driving erratically when an officer observed drugs in the vehicle, according to police.
   Mr. Lockhart was also charged with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, failure to maintain lane, drugs in a motor vehicle and driving an uninsured vehicle.
   Ms. Rosario was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. Both people were released pending court action.
   Two men reported that Gary Squire, 57, of South Drive had touched them inappropriately and without their consent, according to police.
   The men were renting a bedroom from Mr. Squire claim the incidents happened between March 1 and July 19, police said.
   Mr. Squire was charged with criminal sexual contact and then released pending court action.
   A man between the ages of 30- and 40-years-old exposed himself to women near Etra Park, police said. The incident is still under investigation.
   A man from North Brunswick was charged with driving while intoxicated on Twin Rivers Drive on July 27 around 2 a.m., police said.
   Samuel Deluca, 64, was observed trying to start his car when police approached him and noticed he was drunk, according to police.
   Mr. Deluca was also charged with careless and reckless driving. He was released pending court action.
   Police charged a man with driving while intoxicated after observing him driving erratically on Route 130.
   Charudatt Waghulde, 23, of West Windsor was charged with failure to observe signal, failure to keep right, careless driving and reckless driving on July 27 at 3:37 a.m., police said.
   He was released pending court action.
   A caller reported that someone broke into the station wagon parked at the Getty Station on Route 571 between 9 a.m. on July 26 and 7 a.m. on July 27.
   Approximately $400 worth of cigarettes and a quantity of cash were reported stolen, police said. The incident is under investigation.
   A man was charged with driving while intoxicated on July 29 at 1:44 a.m. on Dutch Neck Road, according to police.
   Henry Serrano, 24, of Garden View Terrace was stopped and the driver was observed to have an odor of an alcoholic beverage, police said.
   He was also charged with speeding, driving while intoxicated in a school zone, careless driving and reckless driving.
   Police charged man with possession of heroin on July 29 around 3 p.m. after responding to a call at the Rite Aid Pharmacy.
   Maurice Overton, 25, of Jamesburg, was attempting to use a fake prescription when police were called, according to police.
   Mr. Overton was also charged with forgery, attempting to obtain prescription medications by fraud and possession of drug paraphernalia.
   A woman reported that someone scratched racial slurs into her vehicle’s door when she was in TGI Fridays between 2 p.m. and 3:25 p.m. in July 29, according to police. Damage was estimated at $550 and the incident is under investigation.
   A man reported his unlocked car was entered between 7 p.m. July 27 and 7:30 p.m. July 28 on Moorsgate Circle, police said. A camera worth $1,000, an i-Pad worth $800, a GPS unit worth $200, and a wallet containing credit cards and personal papers were stolen from the vehicle.
   Two people were charged with shoplifting from the local Walmart at 1 p.m. July 28.
   Gregory Peterson, 33, of Lakeworth, Fla. and Elizabeth Peck, 29, of Trenton were seen leaving the store with stolen items and stopped when they tried to drive away, police said.Two stolen cellular phones valued at $259.76 were recovered and returned to Walmart.
   Mr. Peterson was turned over to Mercer County Sheriff’s Office on an unrelated warrant and Ms. Peck was released pending court action.
   Christopher Rosado, 24, of Freehold was charged with shoplifting after he was caught attempting to steal cell phones from Walmart on July 27 at 12:05 p.m., according to police. He was released pending court action.
   A man reported that he had left a Toro riding lawnmower worth approximately $150 on his front yard with a for sale sign on it, police said. He reported that sometime between 12 p.m. and 5 p.m. July 29 it was stolen from the yard.
   Police said a 21-year-old man was charged with possession of marijuana on July 31 around 4 p.m. on Wickham Lane.
   Christopher Perez was the passenger in a vehicle that was stopped when the officer noticed he had a bag of marijuana, according to police.
   Mr. Perez was charged and later released pending court action.
   A man reported that someone had entered his One Mile Road residence through an unlocked rear door and stole approximately $16,000 worth of assorted jewelry on July 31 between 7:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. The incident is under investigation.
Hightstown
   According to police, on July 26 at 9:45 p.m., in the area of the parking lot behind Building 3 of the Hightstown Housing Authority a vehicle was scratched, by a sharp object from the passenger door to the taillights of the passenger side of the vehicle. The amount of loss was unspecified.
   Police charged a 23-year-old man of Avon Drive with possession of a fraudulent inspection sticker, unlicensed driving and contempt of court July 27 at 7:48 p.m. on Summit Street.
   Fernando Zea-Serpa was stopped for operating a motor vehicle with a fraudulent inspection sticker, police said. During a credential check the Mr. Zea-Serpa was found to be unlicensed and to possess an active warrant issued by Monroe Township Municipal Court in the amount of $350.
   He was later released upon posting bail with pending court action.
   According to police, a car parked on Second Avenue had its taillight smashed between 4 p.m. July 27 and 9 a.m. July 28. The amount of damage was estimated at $100.
   A man was charged with criminal mischief and resisting arrest on July 28 at 6 p.m. at the Westerlea Arms Apartment Complex, police said.
   Angel Velon, 20, of Westerlea Avenue kicked in a door at the apartment complex and tried to pull away from officers while he was being taken into custody, according to police.
   He subdued and was processed and later released with pending court action, police said.
   Police charged a 23-year-old man with driving while intoxicated on Main Street July 29 around 1:45 a.m.
   Kaushal Patel, of Pine Brook, was observed traveling 54 mph in a 25 mph speed zone and then pulled over when an officer noticed the smell of alcohol coming from his car, police said.
   He was also charged with driving while intoxicated in a school zone, careless driving, reckless driving, speeding and failure to maintain lane.
   Mr. Patel was later released to a friend with pending court action.
