Township
Christopher Nesi, 23, of Princeton, was charged with having an outstanding warrant out of Princeton Township in the amount of $193 on Leigh Avenue on July 31 at 9:05 a.m. He was released after posting bail.
Susan Danoff, 59, of Princeton, and a male juvenile, 17, of Lawrenceville, were in an accident in the intersection of Snowden Lane and Rollingmead Road on July 31 at 12:01 p.m. Ms. Danoff received summonses for failure to stop or yield and was taken to a local hospital.
A resident of Overlook Drive reported a diamond and sapphire ring stolen from her house sometime between July 18 and Aug. 1. Police said there were no signs of forced entry and that no other items were reported missing.
Garnet Abrams, 22, of Scotia, Calif., and Alfreda Bradsbery, 61, of Trenton, were in an accident on North Harrison Street on Aug. 1 at 4:15 p.m. Police said Ms. Abrams was driving a Princeton First Aid and Rescue Squad vehicle when she struck Ms. Bradsbery’s bus, which contained 14 people. Both vehicles suffered minor damage and were driven from the scene, according to police.
Martin White, 56, of Princeton, was charged with trespassing at a residence of Redding Circle on Aug. 3 at 7:45 a.m. after the Princeton Housing Authority had banned him from the area
Two victims reported wallets and/or purses containing cash and credit cards were stolen from their vehicles on Aug. 3 sometime between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. while cars were parked at a business on Pretty Brook Road.
Rebecca Smryl, 34, of Upper Darby, Pa, and Cherlyn Bonacci, 19, of Hamilton, were in an accident at the intersection of Quaker Road and Mercer Street on Aug. 4 at 2:19 p.m. Ms. Bonacci’s passenger, 18, was treated at the scene for reported head pain and Ms. Smryl received a summons for careless driving.
Sarah Kirsch, 19, of West Windsor, and Leonard Ershow, 62, of Princeton, were in an accident at the intersection of Valley Road at Jefferson Road on Aug. 4 at 3:43 p.m. Ms. Kirsch received a summons for failure to stop or yield at the intersection.
Alexis Medley, 24, of Trenton, was charged with having active warrants totaling $750 out of Plainsboro on Witherspoon Street on Aug. 4 at 4:55 p.m. She was turned over to Plainsboro police after being unable to post bail.
A resident of Randall Road reported almost $3,000 worth of items stolen and hauled away from her home on Aug. 5 at 10:42 p.m. Police said that detectives are following up.
Paulette Kirkland, 28, of New York City, and Amy Lupfer, 22, of Newton, were in an accident on Lawrence Road at Carriage Way on Aug. 6 at 7:49 a.m. Ms. Kirkland received a summons for careless driving.
Princeton Borough
George Pinkerton, 53, of Harrington Park, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and for having an active traffic warrant out of Princeton Borough on Alexander Street on Aug. 4 at 2:15 p.m.
Denmark residents Rasmus Bojsen, 27, and Kristian Hanghoej, 23, were charged with theft, criminal mischief, possession of burglar’s tools and criminal trespass after allegedly attempting to steal a locked bicycle from the porch of a Witherspoon Street residence on Aug. 5 at 5:56 p.m. Police said they fled the scene after the victim saw them trying to take his second bike. Police said they chased and caught Mr. Bojsen, who fled on the bicycle, and later caught Mr. Hanghoej, who fled on foot, after Princeton University public safety officers spotted him on the campus.
West Windsor
Catherine G. Colehower, 19, of Pennington, and a juvenile girl, 15, of Newton, Pa, were charged with stealing $138 worth of clothing and $235 worth of jewelry from Kohl’s at Nassau Park on July 19 at 4:07 p.m. Ms. Colehower received a criminal summons for shoplifting and the juvenile received a juvenile petition for shoplifting.
Rakesh N. Patel, 50, of Franklin Park, was charged with driving while intoxicated on Route 1 at Meadow Road on July 20 at 10:39 p.m. He also received summonses for reckless driving and failure to maintain lamps.
Rebecca J. Sawada, 39, of Robbinsville, was charged with driving while intoxicated on Route 1 at Meadow Road on July 26 at 10:34 p.m. She also received summonses for reckless driving, failure to maintain a lane and unlicensed driver.
Victorio Herrarte, 47, of East Windsor, was charged with driving while intoxicated on Old Trenton Road at Village Road East on July 27 at 2 a.m. He also received summonses for reckless driving, driving while suspended and delaying traffic.
Montgomery
Karen G. Sottile, 59, of Belle Mead, was charged with driving while intoxicated after crashing her car at the intersection of Pike Run Road and Belle Mead Griggstown Road on Aug. 4 at 11:30 a.m. The EMS took her to the Princeton Medical Center. Ms. Sottile also received summonses for having an open container of alcohol in a vehicle, failure to install an interlock device, failure to stop or yield, failure to produce documents and having overdue inspection.
Plainsboro
Staff at the Power House Gym on Schalks Crossing Road reported an unknown man stole $396 in cash from the purse of a Roosevelt resident on Aug. 3 at 2:40 p.m.
Justin Malone, 29, of Plainsboro, was charged with possession of marijuana under 50 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia at a residence on Ravens Crest Drive on Aug. 4 at 12:05 a.m.
Three residents of Sayre Drive reported their ground floor window screens had been damaged at each of their homes and that two of the homes had property missing sometime between Aug. 3 and Aug. 5. Police said the damage and stolen property estimates are still undetermined.
A resident of Belle Mead reported a gold bar worth approximately $1,700 was stolen from a package he ordered online when it was delivered to his work on Morgan Lane sometime between July 16 and July 25.
