   Many folks have asked what they can do to help, following the tragic fire at the Metzger home June 11.
   Adrienne and her son, Adam, lost husband and father and everything except the clothes they were wearing and her car.
   Donations and gift cards are being collected for Adrienne Metzger by the Springfield Township Fire Company. Donations may be mailed to Brian Kokotajilo at 2470 Monmouth Road, Jobstown, New Jersey, 08041.
   Fall recreation soccer registration is accepting late registrations, however, children will be placed on a waiting list with no guarantee of being placed on a team.
   Also, Springfield residents may sign up for Northern Burlington Junior Grey Hounds Football and Cheerleading, which is open until Aug. 7. Visit springfieldtownshiprec.org for compete details.
   Juliustown Fire Company meeting is Thursday, Aug. 9, at 7:30 p.m. in the Juliustown firehouse.
   Springfield Township Recreation meeting is Thursday, Aug. 9, at 7:30 p.m. in the Municipal Building.
   Jacksonville Fire Company meeting is Monday, Aug. 13, at 7:30 p.m. in the Jacksonville firehouse.
   The Springfield Township Historical Society meeting will take place at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 15, in the municipal building.
   The Springfield Township Zoning Board is set to meet 7:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 20, in the municipal building.
   The Springfield Township Board of Education meeting is scheduled for 7:15 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 21, in the school library.
   The Springfield Township Planning Board will meet 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 21, in the municipal building.

   Springfield Township is seeking volunteers for several EMS and Fire Department openings.

   Are you caring for feral cats?
   If so, there is a program to help you and the community.
   The feral cat program has been established to increase the health of feral cats while decreasing the spread of disease through medical care and vaccines. The program also assists in reducing the population of feral cats through neutering.
