West Windsor
Jeffrey L. Gordon, 45, of Plainfield, was charged with stealing $418.89 worth of merchandise from Home Goods on Nassau Park on Aug. 6 at 3:34 p.m. Police said a loss prevention officer suffered a cut to his elbow when Mr. Gordon tried to flee while two people were distracting the cashiers. Mr. Gordon received summonses for robbery, shoplifting and simple assault and was taken to the Mercer County Workhouse after police found he was wanted by the Union County Sheriff’s Office. His bail was set for $50,000 for the West Windsor charges.
Reginald R. McCoy, 54, of Trenton, was charged with stealing a pair of Nike sneakers valued at $74 from Kohl’s on Nassau Park on Aug. 8 at 12:49 p.m. Police found he also had outstanding warrants in West Windsor and Lawrence. He received summonses for shoplifting and hindering his own apprehension and was taken to the Mercer County Workhouse.
A resident of West Windsor reported that his tires and rims were stolen from his car sometime between 9 p.m. on Aug. 7 and 9 p.m. on Aug. 8. The tires and rims were valued at a total of $1,000.
Angelica M. Nicastro, 26, of East Brunswick, was charged with possession of a hypodermic needle and possession of drug paraphernalia at Larry’s Sunoco on Route 1 on Aug. 8 at 7:43 p.m.
A resident of Suffolk Lane reported $6, 800 worth of items were stolen from her house sometime between 11:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Aug. 10. Police estimated $300 worth of damage was done to the house’s window.
Montgomery
Jordan Collins, 19, of Princeton, Kuang Chuan Cheng, 52, of Belle Mead, and Katelyn McCormack, 26, of Lawrenceville, were in a three-car crash on Cherry Valley Road near Heather Lane on Aug. 9 at 6:12 p.m. Ms. McCormack was taken to the University Medical Center of Princeton at Plainsboro and Ms. Collins received a summons for failing to maintain a lane. Cherry Valley Road was closed for 1.5 hours between Great Road and Province Line Road during the investigation.
Jordan D. Lantz, 22, of Bristol, Pa., was charged with possession of marijuana under 50 grams on Aug. 12 at 12:30 p.m. He also received summonses for failure to wear a seatbelt and possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle.
Plainsboro
Kevin Amiri, 61, of Monsey, N.Y., was charged with driving while intoxicated on Tuesday, Aug. 7, at 11:18 a.m. on Stanhope Street in Princeton. He was also charged with reckless driving and prohibited parking.
A resident of Jeffer Road reported that sometime between July 13 and Aug. 1 someone had charged $4,340.13 of supplies to the victim’s credit card.
A resident of Ravens Crest Drive reported on Monday, Aug. 6, at 4:29 p.m. that someone punctured holes in three of her car’s tires. The cost of the damage to the vehicle is unknown.
An employee of Plainsboro Public Works reported finding drug paraphernalia on Woodland Drive during a curbside brush collection on Aug. 9 at 10:12 a.m.
Andres S. Lizarazu, 25, of Hamilton, was charged with driving while intoxicated on Saturday Aug.11, at 10:02 p.m. on Scudders Mill Road near Route 1. was also issued a summons for reckless driving.
