The Allentown Garden Club will welcome John Stella as the featured speaker at its Sept. 13 meeting starting at 7 p.m. at the Allentown Methodist Church.
A graduate of Delaware Valley College, Doylestown, Pa., he has worked for years as a sales representative for many regional wholesale plant growers and is known throughout the industry for his superior knowledge, amazing photography and unsurpassed love of plants.
Stella is an enthusiastic speaker, and will focus on botanical nomenclature and plant physiology, as well as which are the best trees for this area.
