Mr. Kijowski, 92, of the Parlin section of Sayreville, died Aug. 9, 2012, in Regency Health Care, Somerset section of Franklin. Prior to his retirement in 1985, he was employed as a carpenter with E.I. DuPont, Parlin, where he worked for 35 years. He was predeceased by his wife, Margaret Kijowski; two brothers, Joseph and John “Midgie” Kijowski; and a sister, Sophie Motzelewski. Surviving are a daughter, Karen Pereira, and her husband, Carlos, of Tannersville, Pa.; a son, Ronald Kijowski, of Monroe; two brothers, Frank, of Perth Amboy and Walter, of South Amboy; two sisters, Helen Starace, of South Amboy and Eleanor Kijowski, of Perth Amboy; and three grandsons. A Mass was offered at Sacred Heart Church, South Amboy. Entombment was in St. James Mausoleum, Woodbridge. Arrangements were under the direction of Carmen F. Spezzi Funeral Home, Parlin.
