James P. Smith, 51, of Spotswood, was charged with having an active warrant for $500 out of Fanwood Borough on State Road on Aug. 16 at 10:46 a.m.
Margaret Giampietro, 77, of West Windsor, and Anthony Vitella, 54, of Titusville, were in an accident on Alexander Street. Ms. Giampietro received a summons for careless driving.
A resident of Springdale Road reported his home had been broken into sometime between Aug. 15 and 3:10 p.m. on Aug. 16. Police said any missing items were unknown at the time of the report.
Jerome Williams, 34, of East Windsor, and David Wetherill, 70, of Princeton, were in an accident on State Road near the intersection of Herrontown Road on Aug. 16 at 3:51 p.m. Mr. Williams received a summons for careless driving.
A resident of Prettybrook Road reported that someone broke into the house and stole approximately $10,000 worth of jewelry sometime between July 12 and Aug. 16.
Joseph Prieth, 33, of Morrisville, Pa., and Hina Patel, 39, of Hillsborough, were in an accident on State Road at Jefferson Road on Aug. 16 at 8:07 p.m. Mr. Prieth received a summons for careless driving.
A resident of Herrontown Road reported his bike was stolen from his driveway sometime between 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. on Aug. 17. Police said the value of the bike was unknown at the time of the report.
Liliana Cecan, 59, of Princeton, and Laura Chimiak, 25, of Crofton, Md., were in an accident at the intersection of Walnut Lane and Guyot Avenue on Aug. 18 at 4:08 p.m. Ms. Chimiak received a summons for failure to stop or yield at a stop sign.
Nicholas Senatore, 18, of Hightstown, was in an accident on Snowden Lane at Franklin Avenue on Aug. 20 at 11:16 p.m. after swerving to avoid a deer. He received a summons for careless driving.
A resident of Shady Brook Lane reported more than $5,500 worth jewelry was taken from an elderly family member’s home in the township sometime between June 29 and mid-July.
A resident of White Oak Lane reported items were taken from the home sometime overnight on Aug. 21. Police said some of the items were found in the bushes outside, but the amount of the missing items remained undetermined at the time of the report.
Arthur Smith Tribble, 33, of Trenton, was charged with having an active warrant out of Gloucester County in the amount of $21,461.27 for failure to pay child support on Randall Road on Aug. 9 at 8:26 a.m. He was unable to post bail and was taken to the Mercer County Correctional Center.

Montgomery
Montgomery police, EMS, both fire companies and Rocky Hill Station No. 53 responded to structure fire at a Montgomery Road residence that started in the kitchen behind the oven on Aug. 20 at 5:27 p.m. Police evacuated the residents and both occupants were treated for smoke inhalation at the scene. Police said damage was limited to the oven and wall behind the oven and that the cause of the fire is under further investigation by the town fire officials.
Plainsboro
Jeffrey G. Lavis, 34, of Princeton, was charged with driving while intoxicated on Schalks Crossing Road on Aug. 13 at 11:10 p.m. He also received summonses for reckless driving, failure to keep right at an intersection, failure to exhibit vehicle registration, unclear plates and no insurance.
A resident of Franklin Drive reported that approximately $5,975 worth of items were stolen from the house and that a red 2007 Hyundai Tucson worth approximately $21,000 was taken from in front of the house sometime between 10:30 a.m. on Aug. 17 and Aug. 20.
A resident of Ravens Crest Drive reported a ring valued at approximately $1,700 was stolen from the apartment sometime between 3 p.m. and 8 p.m. on Aug. 21.
