WEST AMWELL: South board prepares for 2012-13

   WEST AMWELL — Payments for a number of work projects were approved by the South Hunterdon Regional High School’s board of education at its Aug. 16 meeting, according to Administrator/Board Secretary Kerry Sevilis.
   A number of personnel moves also were approved by the board.
   Payment of $45,125 to the Gillespie Group for middle school gym floor installation was approved.
   Also OK’d was payment to Accurate Waste, in an amount not to exceed $2,270, for annual cleaning of the school’s septic system.
   Also approved was paying Hunterdon Lock $2,477 to replace the lock system in the boys locker room at the school.
   Robert Williamson was hired as third assistant football coach for the 2012-13 school year. His salary will be $4,402 for the year.
   Also OK’d was Juliane Cavanaugh as volunteer cheerleading coach for the 2012-13 school year.
   Also in the area of athletics personnel, the board approved the hire of Jessica Tanner as substitute athletic trainer for the 2012-13 school year. She will be paid $35 per hour in that position.
   Krista Regan was hired as junior varsity girls basketball coach for the 2012-13 school year. Her annual salary will be $4,578. Trevor Johnson was hired as middle school cross country coach for 2012-13 at a $1,043 annual salary.
   Syrilda Miller was appointed substitute volunteer math tutor for the 2012-13 school year.
   Robyn Bennett was hired as a part-time bookkeeper at the rate of $20/hour, for a three-month probationary contract starting Sept. 1. Ms. Bennett is to average 20 hours of work weekly under the board approval.
   Stephanie Capioli was hired as substitute teacher caller for 2012-13 at an annual stipend of $2,500.
