Matthew Stewart, 25, of New Brunswick, was charged with having an active traffic warrant in the amount of $500 out of New Brunswick on Oakland Street at Walnut Lane on Aug. 24 at 1:52 a.m. Mr. Stewart was turned over to the New Brunswick police after being unable to post bail.
Rajashekh Dodamani, 40, of Plainsboro, and Frances Duckett, 74, of Roosevelt, were in an accident on State Road at the intersection of Ewing Street on Aug. 24 at 1:33 p.m. Mr. Duckett received a summons for careless driving.
A resident of Tupelo Row reported more than $4,000 worth of jewelry was stolen from the apartment some time during the day on July 10. Police said there was no sign of forced entry and no additional items were taken.
A victim reported her phone was stolen after leaving it unattended during a visit to a doctor’s office on North Harrison Street on Aug. 24 at 5:25 p.m. Police valued the phone at $300 and said there were no similar thefts reported.
A resident of Dodds Lane reported two bicycles valued at a total of $1,800 were stolen from his garage sometime between Aug. 18 and Aug. 24.

A resident of Aspen Drive reported fraud in the amount of $1,239 after cashing a delivered check and wiring the money to a different state when asked to complete a secret shopper program at a bank sometime between 3:24 p.m. on Aug. 17 and 11:42 a.m. on Aug. 24.
Cassandra C. Campos, 24, of Lawrenceville, was charged with driving while intoxicated on Route 1 at Scudders Mill Road on Aug. 25 at 2:15 a.m. She also received summonses for speeding, reckless driving and obstruction of view.
Meiling Pena, 26, of Parlin, was charged with driving while intoxicated on Aug. 25 at 2:46 a.m. She also received summonses for improper use of high beam headlamps and reckless driving.
A resident of Pheasant Hollow Drive reported $440 in cash was stolen from the apartment sometime between Aug. 23 and Aug. 26. Police said nothing was damaged and nothing else was stolen.
